Ski Slopes Monte Gomito

When we talk about the Monte Gomito lift, we immediately think of the Ovovia lift, but we must not forget the Capannino del Monte Gomito lift:

The original lift was born in 1949 as a single-seater chairlift, the main connection to the "stucchi" runway, and was replaced by the current ski-lift in 1968. It is located at the "Foce delle Nubi", just below the Selletta Refuge.

The cable car facility, on the other hand, dates back to 1974, by the SAF (Abetone Funivie Company). Born as a two-seater gondola in the shape of an egg, in 1999 the section connecting Casa Cantoniera with the current 8-seater Leitner cable car was replaced, while in 2004 the section connecting Val di Luce with the current four-seater Doppelmayr was replaced.
