Elegance is the term that describes us best; this long-standing vocation is witnessed by the fact that what today is our hotel was chosen in the early 1900’s by G Puccini as his summer residence during the construction work on the “imperial villa” he had purchased. During this period he worked probably on composing “La Fanciulla del West (Girl of the Golden West)”
The complex originally named Villa Bondi, now “Albergo Residenza Miramonti” is among the oldest buildings of the Municipality of Abetone, the construction of which dates back to approximately 1890.
In the panorama of the city, it represents an architectural point of reference, its form and materials blending into the typical residential area of the region.
“Tosca,” “The fanciulla del West (Girl of the Golden West),” “La Boheme.”.. These are not only famous operas of the master Puccini but are also some of the names that we gave to the 8 rooms and two suites that the residence offers its guests. Ample and spacious, reflect the taste and the elegance of the entire facility thanks to the muted colors that, wisely mixed with the wood of our forests, make the environment warm and comfortable. All the rooms have a large bathroom and refined furnishings, mini-bar, a tea and coffee-maker and air conditioning, internet connection, safe, and all the conveniences that a 4-star room can offer.
As in a lyrical composition, also in the kitchen of the restaurant “La Volpe e l’Uva (The Fox and the Grapes)” the apple in the eye of our hotel, the search for the balance of the senses is based on our philosophy.
The silence and tranquility, the fragrances, the compositions of the dishes, are the prelude to an experience that has little to do with the term “eat.”...
Careful selection of raw materials is the foundation that allows us to offer cuisine the highest quality, with the culinary tradition of Tosco-Emiliana, revisited be transformed without the skill of our young and creative chef Simone Pongolini.
