Cross-country skiing at Abetone

Cross-country skiing is one of the winter sports best suited to appreciate the nature of the mountain and stay fit.

Abetone
A short distance from the city center of Abetone is a cross-country ski ring that develops in the woods along the Majori trail. The trail is about 8 km long and allows full immersion in nature. Halfway there is a fountain with drinking water.

Val di Luce
In Val di Luce there is an uphill trail, easy-to-follow, which takes about 2 hours to complete.

Maresca
Maresca's cross-country tradition is more than 60 years old. In the forests around the village there is a very popular path in winter, for skiing, in summer, for walking or mountain biking. The track starts at the Pulledrari Lodge and develops in the Teso Forest.
